Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging: Confessions of Georgia Nicolson
This is a great book that consists of "diary entry's" from a teenage girl called Georgia Nicolson, in the book Georgia has trouble dealing with an annoying younger sister, parents who she doesn't meet eye to eye with, her cat called Angus, and not being able to finding boyfriend. It's a pretty realistic book which seems like its really written by a dramatic boy crazed teenager! Georgia's diary entries has vividly described entries, ridiculously funny and weird characters and ridiculous situations (like when she shaves off her eyebrow!)
The best thing about this book is the humor involved. I really liked how it was full of funny comments and speech made by Georgia (The main character) and her friends. I also think that the fact that it uses a good amount of humorous sentences straight away at the start of the book makes it a very intriguing.
In my opinion it's a really good book, I didn't want to put it down! And I think it was such a good book because of its realistic plot and melodramatic characters. It contains easy to read words and it's not one of those books that have lots of complicated words, by the use of simpler words it adds to the realism and also the slang words that are used in the book help to really see that the book is viewed from a teenagers view point.
