My sister jodie by jacquline wilson REVIEW :)

In the book a family of four, a mum, a dad, and two girls, live in a house together. One of the girls, Jodie is a 14 year old, is very mischievous in school, she gets in a lot of trouble. however the eleven year old Pearl is a well behaved but quiet girl. the mum and the dad got a new job at a posh school and the girls had to adapt to a new environment when they moved. When they arrive, Things start to change now they are in their new home. Jodie has always been the leader - but now it's Pearl who's making new friends: tall, eccentric Harley and Mrs Wilberforce, the wife of the Head, with her library of wonderful books. Jodie just seems to be getting into more and more trouble - arguing with Mum, scaring the children, flirting with the young gardener

There are loads of reasons why it's a good book, for instance, it's an original plot and it doesn't have a storyline that is cliché.

I think it's a really good book and it's very heart-warming too, and it has a message behind it: about love and friendship and how it can be taken away from you easily. It's a book filled with different emotions and it has it's happy moments and sad moments etc.. and at the end there's a really big twist in the story which I think makes it complete!

My favourite character was Pearl because she seemed to caring and she cared also about people's situations, were as Jodie didn't because she was irresponsible and laid-back although I did like Jodie's character also because without it the book wouldn't have been the same and it would probably be rubbish.

I think the book was really simple. and at points maybe too simple so I think it lacked explanation at some points which would have made the book even better, and although the storyline was original it was a some points easy to predict what was going to happen less, so i think the book would have been better if there were more little twists put into the book in place of the predictable areas of the story.

Overall it was a brilliant story, that was like an emotional rollercoaster.
